Through its multi-disciplinary team approach and the team members combined experience in design-build construction, CBC is able to carefully study a Special Purpose project from many perspectives and determine the distinctive design elements and specific construction requirements that the project would entail. CBC thrives on taking on the challenges that these projects present.

After the 1999 flood destroyed its former airplane facility, Segrave Aviation decided to move its charter plane company (which manages aircraft ranging from King Air to jets) to the N.C. Global TransPark. CBC worked with Global TransPark and Segrave Aviation to design a hangar, maintenance building and office space. CBC was also asked to add an additional 12,000 sq. ft. of hangar space, bringing the total facility to 33,356 sq. ft.

Bladez on Ice needed a massive renovation and a quick turnaround time. CBC was there to retrofit a 22,557 square foot roller skating rink into a state of the art ice skating rink and home to the ECU Pirates Ice Hockey Team. And CBC did it on time and on budget.
Modifications. Additions. Designs…That’s CBC.

When Randy Bailey decided to build the only indoor clay court facility east of Raleigh, and incorporate a fitness center into the design, he called on CBC to turn-key the project. After surveying other tennis facilities CBC custom designed this 52,282 sq. ft. tennis and fitness center. CBC included six indoor courts, a tennis viewing area, four outdoor courts and a large atrium.
